Sculpture in the Sanctuary in 2009 its inaugural year attracted over 10,000 visitors over the 3 weeks and 4 weekends.
Sculpture in the Sanctuary 2011 will be a bigger exhibition and it will be held over a longer period of 5 weeks and 6 weekends.
With a 47% increase in sculptors and 55% more pieces to look at during a period of time that is over half as much again, and having built on the story of 2009 this year’s event will be bigger and better with much more impact both locally, regionally, and nationally.
We anticipate a minimum of 15,000 visitors. Publicity will include all local and regional newspapers on several occasions leading up to the event and during it.This will also include some national press coverage in The Guardian, Telegraph, and Times.
All regional up market and art magazines will be involved.
As in 2009 BBC Radio Nottingham and BBC Radio Lincoln will feature as will commercial radio, and Central TV.
Publicity material will be distributed by County District and Town Councils into libraries and other places of high footfall, as well as significant events such as Rufford Fire And Earth,Patchings Art Festival, and The Gate to Southwell Festival to name but a few.
There will be a significant digital promotion and awareness through linking to other significant tourist and information sites.
There will be a 32 page full colour newspaper printed to give to the estimated 15,000 visitors who will be in the area.
So whether it’s sponsorship of pieces and sections of the exhibition, or other parts of the promotional material, or even just advertising in the Exhibition newspaper there are big profile opportunities available.
A full media campaign is also planned which will include all local and regional media. |
